.
One evening, after returning from work, after dinner, I found myself holding the electric guitar and starting to play it without amplification, quietly with myself.
I do not know how it happened, but I started playing the song “Midnight Blues” at 08:00 in the evening. At 8:30 pm, I decided it was time to record it.
It was the first time I had recorded the song using headphones without the external noise of the normal amplification I was used to recording with at the time.
I finished recording this song at 1 or 2 in the morning. I did not know how to predict the end result of the song, but in this case, the result was more positive than I could have demanded or described. It was one of the first blues songs I recorded.
I was not sure about the quality of the song and how successful it was, but everyone who heard this song loved it from the first second. It sounds clean, clear, presents the song in the traditional blues spirit, and leads you to pleasant realms like a good meditation.
In this case, I can say with confidence that it sounds like traditional blues, even though I still have a lot of room for improvement in the blues category.
